How To Break In Shoes
1. Protect The Hot Spots
You can avoid blisters by knowing where to look. The heels are the most obvious, but there are other hot spots, such as the sides and tops of your toes. You can walk around in your new shoes for an hour if you aren’t sure where your problems are.
Blisters can be caused by friction between the shoe and your foot. Moisture is the key to reducing friction. Dry skin will rub more than hydrated skin. To reduce friction, moisturize your skin with lotion and apply petroleum jelly to the most trouble spots.
